VerbForm: form of verb

In Cuicatec, this feature applies to verbs and auxiliaries (value Fin), and to property words tagged as adjectives (value Stat).

Fin: finite verb

A finite verb form. Finite verbs are inflected for person, and may carry aspect prefixes (for example the progressive ji-).

Examples

Stat: stative

Stative forms express a property or state rather than an event. They are used for property concepts such as cheatea “grande” and lï “pequeño”, typically as the predicate of a clause, with no copula.
