: nominal subject
The nsubj dependency (nominal subject) is used to express the relation of a nominal which is the syntactic subject of a clause with the head predicate of the clause. This nominal subject may be headed by a noun, a pronoun or a relative pronoun, or even an adjective, in ellipsis context:
astinomíjeta fáti annók čulǽka
"the police caught a man"
