Definition
Georgian particles, can be represented by a suffix attached to an inflected word (e.g. ჩანთაც ‘bag too’ etc.), or by an independent word (e.g. ვეღარ ‘not anymore’). Particles are subdivided into the following lexical classes: question (PartType=Int), infinitive (PartType=Inf), negative (PartType=Neg) and emphasis (PartType=Emp) particles.

- Q (question particles): PartType=Int
- Inf (infinitive particles): PartType=Inf
- Neg (negative particles): PartType=Neg
- Int, Aff, Proh (emphasis particles): PartType=Emp
Examples
- question particles: ნუთუ ‘whether’ etc.
- infinitive particles: რომელიმე ‘any’ etc.
- negative particles: არ ‘not’ etc.
- emphasis particles: აკი ‘but’ etc.
