Tense: tense
Tense is a feature that specifies the time of the action/state with respect to the time of utterance or to another action/state mentioned in the utterance. Welsh verbs have 6 tenses (2 in indicative mood, 2 in conditional moo and t2 in subjunctive mood. The auxiliary bod has 2 additional tenses in the indicative mood
Past: past tense
Examples
- Mi genais i “I sang”

- Bu llywyd y cymdeithas “He was the present of the society”
Fut: future tense
This tense if often called Present Tense, but in fact it denotes a future event. (perfective aspect)

- Gwnaf i “I will do”

- Bydd yn frenin “He will be King”
Pqp: Pluperfect or Irreal tense
This tense is less and less employed, mostly in irreal situations
