which is unmarked for inanimate objects or non-specific objects, for instance:

similar to the dative for animate, specific objects or for objects of verbs that imply
animacy, such as: मी पक्ष्यांना बघतो / mī pakṣyāṃnā baghato “I watch birds (specific birds)”.
