PROPN: proper noun

Definition

A proper noun is a noun that is the name (or part of the name) of a specific individual, place, or object and is usually written with an initial uppercase letter.

Examples

• Slovenija “Slovenia”
• Evropa “Europe”
• ZDA “USA”
• Janez (personal names)
• Olimpija (name of sport club)
• Krka (name of river and company)
