PronType: pronominal type

This feature typically applies to pronouns, determiners, pronominal numerals (quantifiers) and pronominal adverbs.

Prs: personal or possessive personal pronoun or determiner

See also the Poss feature that distinguishes normal personal pronouns from possessives. Note that Prs also includes reflexive personal/possessive pronouns (e.g. себе / свій; see the Reflex feature).

Examples

Int: interrogative pronoun, determiner, numeral or adverb

Note that possessive interrogative determiners (whose) can be distinguished by the Poss feature.

Examples:

Rel: relative pronoun, determiner, numeral or adverb

Note that this class heavily overlaps with interrogatives.

Examples:

Dem: demonstrative pronoun, determiner, numeral or adverb

These are to some extent parallel to interrogatives.

This feature is universal. It occurs with 7 different values: Dem, Ind, Int, Neg, Prs, Rel, Tot.

212 tokens (13%) have a non-empty value of PronType. 97 types (14%) occur at least once with a non-empty value of PronType. 47 lemmas (8%) occur at least once with a non-empty value of PronType. The feature is used with 5 part-of-speech tags: PRON (153; 9% instances), DET (34; 2% instances), ADV (21; 1% instances), NUM (3; 0% instances), VERB (1; 0% instances).

PRON

153 PRON tokens (100% of all PRON tokens) have a non-empty value of PronType.

The most frequent other feature values with which PRON and PronType co-occurred: Number=EMPTY (104; 68%), Case=Nom (89; 58%).

PronType seems to be lexical feature of ADV. 100% lemmas (13) occur only with one value of PronType.

NUM

3 NUM tokens (8% of all NUM tokens) have a non-empty value of PronType.

The most frequent other feature values with which NUM and PronType co-occurred: Gender=EMPTY (3; 100%), NumType=Card (3; 100%), Number=Plur (3; 100%), Case=Ins (2; 67%).
