Degree: adjective degree
This feature takes the following values:

The positive is not marked and can be used for all degrees. It is not indicated in the annotation. Analytic marking of grades is possible, notably by means of wēš “more”.
Abs: Absolute superlative / elative
A stylistic peculiarity is the combination of the comparative suffix and the superlative suffix forming an elative or absolute superlative.
Examples:
- frāz-dom-tar “even more advanced, single most advanced”.
Cmp: Comparative
Comparative degree, which can also express superlative degree, e.g. frāz-dar “further, more advanced”. If used without comparison, it evokes the notion of ‘to a higher degree than normal’.
Examples
- analytic: ud aburnāyīg andar aškomb mādar wēš tabāh bawēd “and the child in the womb of the mother becomes much injured (lit: more ruined)”
- comparative: xwaršēd az māh rōšntar “The sun (is) brighter than the moon.”
- comparative with implicit comparison: dō hēnd tis garānmīgdar dārišn ēk driyōš ī rāst dudīgar pādišxā ī nihānīgburd “Two things are particularly worthy of appreciation: one (is) the true poor one, the other (is) the modest powerful one”
- comparative for superlative: ud rāmišn ī az harw rāmišn frāztar tandrustīh ud abēbīmīh ud husrawīh ud ahlāyīh “The comfortable feeling which (is) most advanced of all comfortable feelings (are) physical health and freedom of worry and good reputation and righteousness.”
