Degree: degree of comparison

Degree is relevant for adjectives and some adverbs in Hungarian.


Treebank Statistics (UD_Hungarian)

This feature is universal. It occurs with 3 different values: Cmp, Pos, Sup.

5010 tokens (12%) have a non-empty value of Degree. 2180 types (16%) occur at least once with a non-empty value of Degree. 1885 lemmas (21%) occur at least once with a non-empty value of Degree. The feature is used with 2 part-of-speech tags: hu-pos/ADJ (4708; 11% instances), hu-pos/ADV (302; 1% instances).

ADJ

4708 hu-pos/ADJ tokens (85% of all ADJ tokens) have a non-empty value of Degree.
