Definition
A coordinating conjunction is a word that links words or larger constituents without syntactically subordinating one to the other and expresses a semantic relationship between them.
Examples

- 與 / yǔ, 和 / hé, 跟 / gēn, 同 / tóng, 以及 / yǐjí, 並 / bìng, 並且 / bìngqiě, 而 / ér, 而且 / érqiě, 且 / qiě
- Note that 與, 和, 跟, 同 may also function as prepositions (
