The reflexive pronoun xwēš “own” usually denotes a possessive relation of the topic of the clause and the respective head of the reflexive pronoun. Then it is marked as possessive. Orthotone personal pronouns are marked as possessive if they appear in the determiner position, but not, if they appear in the position of a nominal modifier (i.e. in an ezāfe construction).
