Gender
is a lexical feature of nouns and inflectional feature
of other parts of speech (pronouns, determiners) that marks agreement with
nouns and indicates syntactically agreement on the verb.
Masc

Nouns denoting males are usually masculine. Other nouns may be also grammatically masculine, without any relation to sex.
