In Nahuatl verbs can incorporate movement, in the form of prefixes (such as “hual-“ or “nal-“) or suffixes (-qui/-ti/-co/to) on the verb.

Denotes movement towards the speaker’s current location.

Denotes movement away from speaker’s current location.
