The neutral marker suffix is -y. If the ending of the word is a vowel, the -y is attached (For example, pila “how much/how many” to pilay). If the ending of the word is a consonant, a morphological process is done to accommodate the -y (For example, pud “too/also” to puy).

- Naay tao sa opisina. “There are people at the office.” (The neutral marker suffix is attached to Naa, in this case a verb to denote existence of tao “people”, this Naa becomes Naay. )
