NUM: numeral

Numbers bear the nominal inflectional features (Number, Case, Number[psor], Person[psor], Number[psed]), plus the NumType feature.

Treebank Statistics (UD_Hungarian)

There are 328 NUM lemmas (4%), 391 NUM types (3%) and 1115 NUM tokens (3%). Out of 16 observed tags, the rank of NUM is: 6 in number of lemmas, 6 in number of types and 10 in number of tokens.

The 10 most frequent NUM lemmas: két, milliárd, millió, egy, több, három, ezer, négy, 30, 10

The 10 most frequent NUM types: két, milliárd, millió, egy, három, több, ezer, négy, 30, 10

The 10 most frequent ambiguous lemmas: két (NUM 82, ADV 3), egy (DET 112, NUM 50, ADV 3), több (DET 55, NUM 35, ADV 4), hat (NUM 15, VERB 4), fél (NOUN 17, NUM 14), 11 (NUM 11, PROPN 3), számos (NUM 9, DET 3), 2000 (NUM 8, PROPN 1), 2 (NUM 7, PROPN 5), kevesebb (NUM 6, DET 4)

The 10 most frequent ambiguous types: egy (DET 109, NUM 42), több (DET 39, NUM 30), fél (NUM 14, NOUN 3), hat (NUM 13, VERB 3), 11 (NUM 10, PROPN 3), számos (NUM 8, DET 2), 2 (NUM 7, PROPN 2), hét (NOUN 14, NUM 5), kevesebb (NUM 5, DET 4), sok (DET 15, NUM 3)

Morphology

The form / lemma ratio of NUM is 1.192073 (the average of all parts of speech is 1.502164).

The 1st highest number of forms (6) was observed with the lemma “millió”: millió, millióan, millióban, milliót, millióval, millióért.

The 2nd highest number of forms (5) was observed with the lemma “egy”: egy, egyben, egyig, egyre, egytől.

The 3rd highest number of forms (5) was observed with the lemma “több”: több, többek, többen, többre, többért.

NUM occurs with 6 features: hu-feat/Case (1115; 100% instances), hu-feat/NumType (1115; 100% instances), hu-feat/Number (1115; 100% instances), hu-feat/Number[psor] (480; 43% instances), hu-feat/Person[psor] (480; 43% instances), hu-feat/Number[psed] (476; 43% instances)

NUM occurs with 25 feature-value pairs: Case=Abl, Case=Acc, Case=Ade, Case=Cau, Case=Del, Case=Ela, Case=Ess, Case=Gen, Case=Ine, Case=Ins, Case=Nom, Case=Sub, Case=Tem, Case=Ter, NumType=Card, NumType=Dist, NumType=Frac, Number=Plur, Number=Sing, Number[psed]=None, Number[psor]=None, Number[psor]=Plur, Number[psor]=Sing, Person[psor]=3, Person[psor]=None

NUM occurs with 36 feature combinations. The most frequent feature combination is Case=Nom|Number=Sing|NumType=Card (500 tokens). Examples: milliárd, millió, több, két, ezer, egy, négy, 30, 10, 50
